The Ogie™ Mask is a single-piece stretch balaclava with an open-ear cutout. Here’s the 30-second routine for putting it on, adjusting the fit, and layering it under a helmet or hat.
Step 1: Find the tag
The Ogie tag inside the mask marks the back. Hold the mask with the tag away from you and the face opening in front.
Step 2: Pull on chin-first
Slide the mask over your head chin-first. Push through until your face pops through the eye/mouth opening. This is the same motion as pulling on a balaclava.
Step 3: Seat over the ears
The stretch fabric has an open-ear cutout — align it so your ears sit fully outside the fabric. Pull the top up over your forehead until the crown of the mask sits at your hairline.
Step 4: Adjust the face opening
Pull the front panel down just below the eye line so it sits under (not over) any glasses or goggles. The stretch fabric holds this position through activity — no readjustment needed.
Step 5: Layer hat or helmet on top
Beanies, ski helmets, bike helmets and hoods all fit over the top without changing fit. Headphones (Shokz, AirPods, hearing aids) sit outside the mask, since your ears are exposed.
