Face masks are often bought seasonally — a cold-weather balaclava that gets used from November to March, then goes back in the drawer. An all-season open-ear face mask changes that: it's comfortable enough for a spring morning run and warm enough for a December dog walk, so you actually use it 12 months a year.
Which weight covers the most seasons?
Mediumweight u2014 180gsm with fleece interior. Warm enough for cool autumn mornings, thin enough for spring evenings, breathable enough that you won't sweat out on a mild run.
Do I need all three weights?
Not usually. Most customers start with Mediumweight, then add Heavyweight if they do winter sports (skiing, late hunts, sub-freezing walks) or Lightweight if they do warm-weather high-output activity.
What temperature range does Mediumweight cover?
Approximately 0u00b0C to 15u00b0C for most people, depending on your activity and personal warmth preferences. Below 0, add a beanie or move to Heavyweight; above 15, drop to Lightweight.
Can I wear the same weight all winter?
Mediumweight works most of the winter for active use u2014 running, cycling, walking. For low-output cold-weather activity (skiing, hunting, ice fishing) Heavyweight is more comfortable.
How do the weights differ visually?
All three look nearly identical from the outside u2014 same colour options, same silhouette. The difference is inside: 180gsm no-fleece (Lightweight), 180gsm fleece-lined (Mediumweight), 300gsm fleece-lined (Heavyweight).
Best colour for year-round use?
Black or Gray u2014 both blend into most kit combinations, and don't show sweat marks. Camo and Orange are activity-specific (hunting); White is winter-specific (snow).
