Face Mask That Works with Shokz & Bone-Conduction Headphones

Do Shokz work with a face mask?
Only if the mask is open-ear. A standard balaclava or ski mask covers the cheekbone contact area, muffles the transducers, and shifts them off-position. Ogie leaves your cheekbone and ear clear so Shokz work exactly as designed u2014 same audio quality, same positioning, same battery life.
Do earbuds work with an open-ear mask?
Yes. AirPods, Powerbeats and standard in-ears all sit in your ear canal, which is completely uncovered by Ogie. You can put them in first or pull the mask on first u2014 either order works.
What about hearing aids?
Hearing aids sit behind the ear and Ogie doesn't cover the behind-ear area, so hearing aids remain in place and functional. Ear accessibility is one of the core reasons open-ear designs exist.
Which Shokz model works best under Ogie?

Does the mask interfere with call quality?
On boom-mic models (OpenComm, OpenFit), the mic is at the corner of your mouth u2014 Ogie's standard version covers that area. Consider the V2 with the mesh mouth panel for cleaner call audio, or lower the mask under your chin for calls.
Can I sweat with them together?
Yes. Ogie's moisture-wicking fabric pulls sweat away from the skin-transducer interface, and Shokz models are rated IP55 or higher, so sweat isn't a concern.
